DANIELLE'S EXPERIENCE
Danielle’s intense curiosity and fascination with the world of food has allowed her to dip her toes, and oftentimes dive right into a variety of different areas within the food and beverage industry. Getting her start in food events, Danielle worked her way up from event staff to event coordinator and administrator with her time working with the Forefront Communications Network Inc. on their many prestigious events such as sip & Savour Ontario and The Ontario Wine Awards. Working with Forefront afforded Danielle the opportunity to work with some of Canada’s top chefs, winemakers, and influencers and inspired her to create her own food blog and website, Ginger Rose.

Ginger Rose is a personal food blog that aims to inspire young home cooks to get out of their comfort zone and have the confidence to excel in making unique, nutritious and delicious meals in their own kitchens. Ginger Rose has also become somewhat of a public portfolio of some of Danielle’s work, expressing her keen eye for food styling and photography.

Danielle’s position with the Kraft Food Hacks campaign gave her the responsibility of maintaining a weekly blog on the Kraft Canada website, which included original recipes and photography, as well as maintaining the various Kraft Food Hacks social media accounts, including creating their calendars. The year-long campaign was a massive success, with recognition from both the Promo Awards (getting a Bronze for Best Shopper Marketing /Retail Account Specific Activation) as well as The Shorty Awards (getting a nomination in the DIY category).
